Our Vision

To be the place where families find solutions for ADHD, LD, Anxiety & Depression and Autism Spectrum Disorders and where each child can reach their full promise and potential.

Our Mission

CHC helps children with ADHD, LD, Anxiety & Depression and Autism Spectrum Disorders thrive by promoting Social Emotional Learning, Academics, Executive Functioning and Physical Development.

At Children’s Health Council we’ve been helping children and families for 60 years. Using a personalized approach, we uncover a world of promise and potential in every child and we help children become happier, more resilient and more successful. Our Center, two schools and Community Clinic serve families in Silicon Valley as well as the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

The Center: Expert multi-disciplinary assessment and personalized programs (at CHC or your child’s school) increase every child’s ability to learn and achieve the balance necessary to enhance life experience and improve school performance. Ages 2-17.

Sand Hill School: Provides a joyful and personalized learning environment for young, bright children with learning, attention and social challenges. Revitalizes student confidence and love of learning by helping them acquire the skills and resiliency they need to thrive at home, at school and in life. Grades 1-8.

Esther B. Clark School: Provides transformative education where children with severe emotional and behavioral issues re-engage in learning and develop the positive behaviors necessary to transition back to the home district school. Ages 7-16.

Community Clinic: Our nurturing specialists deliver behavioral health and rehabilitative services to children with Santa Clara County Medi-Cal, lifting social emotional and developmental barriers to learning. Our culturally sensitive and diverse staff is committed to working with families in both Spanish and English and to providing services to families in their own neighborhoods. Ages 0-18.
