Auxiliary

CHC Auxiliary is an organized volunteer division of Children's Health Council whose role is to support the agency and its mission to help children, teens and families find the best ways to learn, develop and thrive. In cooperation with the Board of Directors, the Auxiliary conducts various fundraising projects and assists with activities of the agency by providing volunteers.

The Bargain Box

A resale shop benefiting Children's Health Council, the Bargain Box was established in 1956 and is operated by Auxiliary volunteers. All proceeds from the sale of donated merchandize directly benefit the programs and services of CHC.

Donations of gently used items are gladly accepted. Here is our Wish List.

Domino Tournament
The annual Domino Tournament, sanctioned by the International Domino Association, brings together avid players from throughout California. Volunteers are needed to chair and staff the event

Find a partner and join the fun! The 48th Annual Masters' Domino Tournament is Saturday, March 6th, 2010 at the Menlo Circus Club in Atherton.

You still have time to send in your registration for a day of tournament play sanctioned by the International Domino Association.

There are prizes for everyone!

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. $140 for advanced players and $70 for novices. Play starts promptly at 9:30 a.m. Continental breakfast and buffet lunch are included.

This event is put on by Children's Health Council Auxiliary and benefits programs and services for children and families.

A NEW EVENT!: Attic Treasures Sale May 22 and 23
A benefit for Children's Health Council, the first annual Attic Treasures Sale will include treasures from CHC donors, area vendors, and antique dealers.

Birthday Club
The Birthday Club is an ongoing fundraising project of the CHC Auxiliary. With a suggested minimum donation, loved ones are enrolled in the Birthday Club and receive a special birthday or anniversary greeting created exclusively for the Children's Health Council. All contributions go towards CHC services for children and families. To sign up, please complete the Birthday Club Enrollment form.

Leadership Opportunities
Auxiliary members have the opportunity to be elected or appointed to the Auxiliary Board, which meets monthly.

Lunch Bunch
The Lunch Bunch meets monthly for informal social gatherings at popular local restaurants. Meetings are open to all members and their friends.
