Professional Experience

Carol provides individual and small group intervention services at CHC through the Kindergarten Readiness Program, and the Educational Therapy Program. She conducts educational evaluations of children and adolescents as part of multidisciplinary teams, addressing youth with medical issues and learning disabilities. She also provides educational consultations on the topics of school readiness, record review, educational planning, appropriate placement, and intervention services.

She has been an Allied Health Practitioner at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, where she dealt with children who were having school issues, or were ready to re-integrate back into school. Additionally, she has been a facilitator for Schools Attuned, which provides training to teachers, counselors, administrators, and special education service providers in the eight neurodevelopmental constructs that shape learning.
