Children’s Health Council has a variety of service options for independent and private schools within the Bay Area. Through consultation and coaching services, we offer schools support for teachers and administrators to better work with children who have behavioral challenges that take up classroom time and impede learning.
Children’s Health Council also partners with administration and staff to develop and implement school programs and services that address school-wide issues such as bullying and academic stress. We offer parents the convenience of evaluation/testing and individual therapy/skill building support on school campuses. In our commitment to give back to our community, Children’s Health Council offers free, limited speech-language screenings, parent education and staff training. We believe in a strong collaboration between our multidisciplinary service approach and local independent schools to help children and teens meet their full academic potential.
