School Readiness Programs
Children’s Health Council’s school readiness programs prepare your child for a successful start to preschool or kindergarten. Using a whole child approach, we move beyond academic instruction and focus on all aspects of your child’s development.
School Readiness Programs build the foundational skills necessary to be successful in a classroom setting.
Children who are appropriate candidates for school readiness programs have difficulty with the following tasks:
- Regulating their bodies and/or feelings
- Using language to communicate
- Initiating play with peers
- Understanding social cues
- Following routines
- Making transitions
If you are new to Children’s Health Council, to get started, call 650.688.3625 or email email@example.com. If you are a current client, please talk to one of the professionals who knows your child to ask for a referral.
