Care Managers
Care managers are the first point of contact for all new clients. When you call for help, a care manager will talk to you about your concerns and either set up an appointment with the appropriate person at Children’s Health Council or refer you elsewhere. When you arrive for your first appointment, a care manager will be the first person you meet with to go over your forms. Next you’ll meet with your specialist.
Every client at Children’s Health Council will receive care coordination services from either a care manager or the therapist they are working with. If your insurance provider does not cover care coordination services, you will be assigned a care manager at no charge to make your experience at Children’s Health Council as seamless as possible. If assigned a care manager, you will meet with your care manager after you meet with your specialist to discuss payment options and future scheduling.
