CHC Launches Voices of Compassion Podcast Series

October 30, 2020, News

CHC is thrilled to introduce a new podcast series, Voices of Compassion.

2020. The year that will not end. We started with COVID-19 in March and sheltering in place. And then layered on school closure and added distance learning. On top of that, we’ve experienced social unrest regarding race and tens of thousands of people evacuated due to wildfires. How much more can we take?

Enter Voices of Compassion. Tune in to hear honest, candid conversations with parents, clinicians, teens, educators, experts and other inspiring voices of compassion. Each episode is under 20 minutes. We think you’ll find our podcast series is just what you need these days.

Recent topics include:

I Will Get By: Advice From a Mom Who Hasn’t Been Alone Since March is a two-part podcast featuring Liza Bennigson, a fellow mom trying to balance work, motherhood, distance learning and self-care during shelter-in-place. It’s just what you need today: a little courage, connection, compassion and humor. Listen to Part I and Part II.

In Top 3 Mindfulness Strategies to Reduce Stress, Guest speaker  Jennifer Salomon, OTD, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist at CHC, discusses some strategies you and your whole family can use to help alleviate stress, be more present and lead a more joyful life, even in these challenging times.

All Voices of Compassion podcasts are available at  Check them out—you’ll be glad you did!
