Children's Health Council Year In Review

2014-2015 Year in Review by the Numbers

CHC is serving more kids and more families thanks to your generous support.

Our agency’s three metrics for evaluating our success are 1) Satisfaction, 2) Volume, and 3) Change.

Family satisfaction with our services is of the utmost importance, and we conduct bi-annual surveys to track client satisfaction. Recent survey data shows that overall 95% of clients agree services received at Children’s Health Council were right for their family. Here’s a snapshot of other relevant data that reflects CHC’s track record of achievement and is specific to our five divisions:

2200 parents and teachers

Of the 2,200 parents and teachers we reached through Parent and Professional Education Programs in 2014-2015, 99% of parent attendees would recommend CHC parent education classes to another parent or caregiver and 98% of teacher education attendees would recommend CHC teacher education classes to another teacher.

600 families

Of the 600 families served by The Center at CHC last year, 96% were completely satisfied with the services that they received from the parent consultation and 100% of families who received an evaluation reported that overall, they were satisfied with the services their child received and would return to CHC if their child needed services again.

911 children and teens

Of the 911 children and teens served through The Community Clinic, 98% of the families were very satisfied with the services they received.

54 Sand Hill students

Of the 54 students served at Sand Hill School (SHS), more than 93% of parents reported their child was developing social emotional skills as a result of attending SHS and 90% reported that SHS promotes positive executive functioning skills.

70 Esther B Clark Students

Of the 70 students at Esther B. Clark School, 75% of students exhibited reduced symptoms of anxiety or depression and exhibited improved self-awareness and social awareness skills.

CHC is also a Top-Rated Nonprofit (GreatNonprofits Award Recipient, 2013, 2014, 2015). Thank you to everyone who wrote reviews about their experience at CHC! We are also a Gold Status organization on Guidestar.
