See’s Candies: Helping kids and spreading joy

A Sweet Partnership

See’s Candies: Helping kids and spreading joy.

Mary SeeA delicious tradition and California staple since 1921, See’s Candies is committed to bringing joy to children and parents everywhere—and not just through butter- scotch squares and chocolate truffles. For decades, See’s Candies has been a generous supporter of Children’s Health Council. You’ve likely seen (and tasted) the sweetness of their donations. But some may not be as familiar with how much See’s Candies directly supports the education and wellbeing of CHC’s kids.

A strong supporter of the art and technology programs at Sand Hill School, See’s helps bring new assistive technologies and visual art lessons to students with language-based learning differences, helping them express emotions, gain confidence, and feel successful. Most recently, See’s Candies awarded a grant in support of CHC’s new Anxious and Depressed Teens Initiative. According to Brad Kinstler, See’s CEO, “We’re happy to be able to support Children’s Health Council’s new program to assist teens with anxiety and depression. We know you’ll accomplish great things in this program and offer a valuable service to the community.” CHC is proud to have See’s Candies as our partner. They give back to our community in a meaningful way—spreading even more joy to families and helping even more kids reach their promise and potential.
