Gina Baldi, MEd, of The Center at CHC will present on strategies for better responding when a child with a disability has challenging behaviors. Participants can expect to identify the causes of challenging behaviors, facilitate positive interventions, create “teachable moments," help with peer interaction, and find opportunities for success.

Most importantly, participants will learn what not to do in response to difficult behaviors. This training is suitable for parents and professionals alike.

This training is open to FIRST 5 partners, therapeutic and related service providers, and parents! CEUs available for LMFTS, LCSWs, LPCCs and LEPs, as required by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences. Certificates are available upon request, indicating hours earned against the Infant-Family Early Childhood Mental Health Guidelines.
