Continuing Education - Ethical Considerations Regarding the Provision of Mental Health Services via Telehealth
Professional development guidelines for mental health providers indicate that they work within their scope of competence, but several areas of practice and research have expanded at a rate far faster than the training structure has been able to accommodate. Despite this ever-pressing need, there continues to be a significant lack of available resources. This is particularly prominent in the context of psychological assessment. This CE course will focus on elucidating the ethical implications of three areas of consideration: models of teletherapy and teleneuropsychological practice; application of these services among diverse populations; and utilization of digital psychology and cyberpsychology in a variety of settings.
