Supervision for the Vicarious Traumatization Context: Guarding & Sustaining Your Therapists

Despite therapists’ training and experience as professional change agents in support of others, they give relatively little attention to the hazards of their craft. They also pay less attention to the protective role that effective supervision has in this regard. This workshop addresses the psychological hazards associated with the provision of care to populations vulnerable to traumatization. This continuing education course is open for clinicians of all levels and will be taught by Rick Williamson, PhD
