David Arbulú, MA, MFT will be leading an engaging presentation on how to best support children on the Autism Spectrum who struggle with anxiety. Through interactive dialogue, vignettes and real-life examples, participants will gain a better understanding of the close relationship between the two disorders and will learn how to manage both simultaneously.  David will discuss red-flags, strategies, and interventions for both providers and parents alike, leaving participants with a clearer understanding of how to meet the needs of each individual child. This presentation will offer parents and service providers alike innovative tactics and approaches to transform the way children with ASD cope with anxiety.

This training is open to First 5 partners, therapeutic and related service providers, and parents! This course meets the qualifications for 3 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSW, and LPCCs, as required by the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences. Certificates of completion are also available upon request.
