Corinne Callan, MEd

Educational Specialist

Corinne has been working at CHC since September, 2001. She has particular interests working with children on the Autism spectrum, as she is a parent of a 29-year-old with classic Autism. Corinne graduated from a Master of Educational Psychology program, in Special Education, at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Her focus of study was on learning disabilities, particularly as they related to reading. After graduating, Corinne had her first child, who was diagnosed with autism when he was a toddler. She became very well-read in the field, speaking at conferences on autism and facilitating parent support groups. On weekends, Corinne can be seen walking in her neighborhood with her son or reading a good book.
