Jordán was born in and continues to live in Redwood City, California. As a son of Central American immigrant parents, Jordán takes pride in being a first-generation Latinx college student. This past May 2020, Jordán received his BA in Art History and Arts Management from the University of San Francisco. During his four years at USF, Jordán worked in Residential Life as a Resident Advisor all while completing internships at modern art galleries in San Francisco. This consistent thread of community building and leadership development both within and outside of the classroom, has led Jordán to find his passion in counseling. Alongside working at CHC as a program assistant, Jordán has decided to embark on the Higher Education and Student Affairs masters program offered at USF. In addition to his work at CHC, Jordán is passionate about social justice, life-coaching, and advocating for equitable practices across college campuses and beyond!
