Theresa Viglizzo, LMFT
Theresa has worked with a diversity of children, adolescents and families in a variety of settings, including outpatient mental health, community-based services with foster youth and school-based therapy and consultation. She received her undergraduate degree in developmental psychology from Duke University and her Master’s in marriage and family therapy from the University of San Diego. Theresa has been a member of the EBC School team for the past two years and enjoys collaborating daily with a multidisciplinary team of dedicated and skilled professionals within the school setting. She provides individual, group and family therapy and believes in working collaboratively with her clients, tailoring her therapy to each individual family. She utilizes a combination of cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral and family systems modalities. In her work with EBC students, she enjoys the opportunity to help students build emotional awareness, increase insight and self-esteem and promote growth and healing.
