Valentine currently resides in Hayward. She started working with students as a volunteer at a private school in Union City when she was in high school. After she graduated high school, she went to Simpson University, Redding, to major in music. However, she decided to change majors. So, she came back to the Bay Area and obtained her Associate of Arts in Behavioral Science from Chabot College. Afterwards, she attended Cal State East Bay and obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development, specializing in Early Childhood Development. She is currently working on her Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis at National University. Prior to working at CHC, her focus was working with children ages three to six. She loves working with students because not only is it fun, but it’s also fascinating to watch them grow and learn. It’s also surprising how much she learns from them and from the way they think.
