California developed a four-stage approach to reopening from shelter-in-place orders caused by the coronavirus outbreak. As of the end of June, the state as a whole is in Stage 2, but most counties have been approved for advanced reopening though some are being monitored by the state as cases are surging again.
Select your county (the database covers Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano and Sonoma) to get up-to-date information on what is open and what is closed.
