“My Hero is You” How Kids Can Fight COVID-19 [downloadable]

My Hero is You is a downloadable e-book book written for children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a story developed for and by children around the world.

About My Hero is You

This book was a project developed by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee Reference Group on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support in Emergency Settings (IASC MHPSS RG). Over 1,700 children, parents, caregivers and teachers from around the world took the time to share with the IASC how they were coping with the COVID-19 pandemic. Their experiences and needs influenced this story.

It is recommended that My Hero is You be read by a parent, caregiver or teacher alongside a child or a small group of children so that an adult is available to answer questions and offer support.

The Inter-Agency Standing Committee is the longest-standing and highest-level humanitarian coordination forum of the UN system.
