Jiaying (Jasmine) Xu, using she/her pronouns, is a clinical psychology doctoral student at the Wright Institute with a strong commitment to supporting children, parents, and families. Over the past several years, she has worked primarily in community settings, where she has seen firsthand the resilience families show in the face of challenges. Jasmine believes that therapy is a collaborative process — one where the therapist and family bring their own strengths and expertise to work toward shared goals. She understands that many difficulties families experience are deeply connected to real-life stressors and basic needs, and she is passionate about meeting families where they are.
With warmth, respect, and cultural sensitivity, Jasmine focuses on creating a supportive environment where parents feel heard and children feel safe to grow. She values tailoring her approach to each family’s unique circumstances, offering both emotional support and practical resources to help them thrive.
